As an NP I am passionate, empathic and have diverse clinical experience. I have worked as a bedside nurse for 7 years specializing in geriatrics and critical care.  I have been practicing as an NP for the last 5 years. I have a BSN and an MSN from Texas Woman's University. I am board certified by the AANP.  My interest in Palliative care stems from the years in healthcare spent working with patients and families at their most vulnerable times and feeling that we need to do more for them. To be able to relive the suffering and provide the best quality of life for patients and their families is always an honor. My goal as a palliative care clinician  is to give our patients more control over their care.  We also want to help patients and families with advanced care planning discussions as well as  provide emotional and spiritual support.

My name is Kim Beavers. I am an experienced hospice nurse. I have always been drawn to help people in their time of need, and have spent years of my life helping those who are terminally ill on hospice.  I am proud to be part of the TIH (Transcend Integrated Healthcare) team where I have the opportunity to offer my expertise to patients.   I love peace, happiness, making memories, traveling, helping others and quotes. My name is Salimu Mucyo. I work in the clinic closely with our clinical providers.  I work closely with Dr. Iqbal to maintain our quality programs and improve patient outcomes.  I am proud to be a part of the TIH (Transcend Integrated Healthcare) team.   I live to see a better world for our patients and will do what I can to help in their care by assisting the clinicians.  I hope to make a positive impact in patient’s lives for as long as I can.   

Thompson Ugoh, (AGPC-NP) is an Adult Nurse Practitioner with a focus on adult Primary Care. He obtained his bachelor's in nursing from Texas Tech University health science Lubbock Texas in 2014.  Thompson has a deep background in nephrology, medical/surgical nursing and case management.  He has served as a primary care provider in the community before joining Transcend Integrated Healthcare.  He hopes to continue to use his knowledge to help those in need.  In his free time he enjoys traveling with his family and spends spare time serving his local community.  

 I am the Clinical Liaison for Transcend Integrated Healthcare. I'm passionate about spreading awareness through social media, breaking barriers, and informing more people about the exceptional care we offer. Contributing to our patients' well-being with this compassionate team is incredibly rewarding. Making a positive impact in their lives inspires me daily.  I eagerly anticipate continuing my journey in palliative care to help more individuals in need. 

My Name is Sibuzani Mabuye. I have been a Family Nurse Practitioner for five years. I joined Transcend Integrated Healthcare as part of the palliative team in October 2022. What called me to palliative care was my six years of experience as a bedside intensive care unit registered nurse, I watched some of my patients transition from a physical being to a spiritual being without all the adequate information and options being made available. I am glad to be a part of this team because we share the same vision and call for duty. 

I am a Supportive and Chronic Illness Nurse Practitioner and serve as the Director of Clinical Services.  I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with an ACNP- AG, MSN in 2017. I worked as a hospitalist prior to joining the palliative care team here at TIH (Transcend Integrated Healthcare).  I have found immense satisfaction working with our chronically ill patients and their families.  I enjoy being able to think outside of the box to provide symptom support for my patients.  I also enjoy the emotional and spiritual aspect of our job, being able to connect on a higher level with patients and their families.  I help manage the TIH quality programs to ensure we are providing the highest quality of care possible.  I enjoy working with my colleagues and feel we are all a big family here.  

Board Certified Physician with focus on Chronic Illness Management and Supportive Care.  My focus remains on helping the most vulnerable patients in our health system.  The purpose of the my practice and everything we do is to provide a place where we can help those who are in need of significant medical assistance.  Despite being board certified in numerous specialties (Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and Hospice/Palliative Care), my focus remains on helping those complex patients with numerous medical problems.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, playing basketball and spending time volunteering.
